One man who shared a dream with his wife of owning a publishing company now works to honor his wife's memory and make that dream a reality. With a goal in mind, he sought out authors with something to offer their readers. Authors who care about the quality of their work and who wish to entertain and help others with their genre fiction.

"Will you join me? Do you have a book to submit for publishing?" He searched and asked of those who work hard in critique groups to produce valued writing.

In the process, he found ten authors who agreed to submit manuscripts. One said she'd help with the marketing and business, as that is her day job. Another said she'd rather run the editing department, as that is something she's done successfully.

Talks and plans began in January 2010. Marion Margaret Press was organized and ready to go in June 2010. A staff of proven editors and artists built. Genre groups of readers set to begin judging the submitted manuscripts.

Submissions started coming in from the authors...the reading process set. The manuscripts that were ready and found publishable were accepted, other authors were offered to resubmit the manuscripts not found publishable.

In April 2011, Marion Margaret Press is full of submissions and will not be taking anymore in until further notice. The fall line up is expected to be announced in May.
